HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY CONTEMPT CASE No.1996 OF 2014

O R D E R

This contempt case is filed alleging violation of order dated 28.04.2014 passed in W.P.M.P.No.16738 of 2014 in W.P.No.13384 of 2014 where in this Court granted status quo in respect of power connection to be granted to respondents 5 to 7. Counter is filed by the official respondents and unofficial respondents stating that prior to the passing of status quo order by this Court on 28.04.2014, the power connection was given to the unofficial respondents on 19.03.2014.

Reply affidavit is filed by the petitioner disputing the same and also produced photographs.

It is stated that the unofficial respondents 5 to 7 have made application for service connections on 13.06.2013 and subsequently estimates were prepared and thereafter the work was executed on 19.03.2014 and power connections were given on the same day. Mere production of photographs does not disclose that the power connection was given to the unofficial respondents after passing of the status quo order by this Court. More so, in the counter it is stated that the petitioner has filed civil litigation for grant of injunction and the same was dismissed. Suppressing all these facts, the petitioner filed the present writ petition. Hence, I do no see any violation of the orders passed by this Court. Accordingly, the contempt case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
