The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in not disposing the petitioner's stay petition dated 26.09.2018 filed along with the revision, against the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Mancherial in file NO. G/ 114/ 2017, dated 28.07.2018, as illegal, improper and incorrect. 2.

Heard Sri P.Lakshma Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue. Both parties agree for disposal of the writ petition at the admission stage.

The grievance of the petitioner is that though he has filed a revision before the 2nd respondent, along with the stay application on 26.09.2018, against the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Mancherial dated 28.07.2018, neither the revision nor the stay application is disposed of by the 2nd respondent till date. 4.

Having regard to the fact that the revision filed by the petitioner against the orders of the Revenue Divisional Officer, along with the stay application, is pending consideration, the 2nd respondent- the Joint Collector shall dispose of the stay application filed by the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of

four weeks from today. Till then, status quo as on today to be maintained in all respects with regard to the entries in the revenue records.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
