The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, declaring the action of the Joint Collector, Nellore, S.P.S.R. Nellore district in not passing any order in the miscellaneous petition filed along with the revision petition on 09.07.2018, as illegal, improper and incorrect, and to consequently direct the respondents not to dispossess the petitioners from the land in Survey No.934-1, admeasuring Ac.3.00 cents, Survey No. 934-2, admeasuring Ac.2.50 cents, Survey No. 934-3, admeasuring Ac.2.50 cents and Survey No. 934-4, admeasuring Ac.2.42 cents, situated at Ponguru village, Marripadu Mandal, S.P.S.R. Nellore district.

The grievance of the petitioners is that though they have filed a revision before the Joint Collector, along with the stay application on 09.07.2018 neither the revision nor the stay application is disposed of by the Joint Collector till date. 4.

Having regard to the fact that the revision filed by the petitioners, along with the stay application, is pending consideration, the Joint Collector, S.P.S.R. Nellore shall dispose of the revision filed by the petitioners, in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If it is not possible for the Joint Collector to dispose of the

revision within the time fixed, he shall dispose of the stay application filed by the petitioners, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
