The present Writ Petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondent in adding 2 extra marks for the gap period, after completing the ITI examination in terms of paragraph 9(A)(ii) of the notification, dated 05.01.2011 and supplementary notification dated 17.10.2011, as illegal and arbitrary.

By an order dated 17.06.2013, this Court directed the respondents to consider granting of two extra marks towards weightage for the period of their completing the qualifying examination till the date of notification. 4.

Today, at the time when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader represented that the petitioner was granted two extra marks, as directed by this Court and hence, no further orders are required to be passed in the present writ petition. The same is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Having regard to the above submission, no orders need be passed in the present writ petition and hence the same is accordingly closed. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
