HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE V.RAMASUBRAMANIAN AND HON'BLE SMT JUSTICE ANIS Writ Petition No.24699 of 2016 ORDER: (per V. Ramasubramanian, J.) The petitioners have come up with this writ petition, challenging the rejection of affiliation for four Undergraduate Courses.

2. Heard Mr. P. Pandu Ranga Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri A. Abhishek Reddy, learned standing counsel for the University.

3. In respect of one Undergraduate course, the University has pointed out not only a shortage of faculty but also a shortage in the laboratory equipments. In respect of remaining 3 Undergraduate courses, though there were no shortages in the faculty, there were shortages in the laboratory equipment.

4. Admittedly, the college is in existence for the past 10 years. The shortage of laboratory equipment pointed out relates to I semester of the II year course or the II semester of the III year course or the I semester of the IV year course. A college, which is in existence admittedly for the past 10 years, cannot afford to have the deficiency. In any case, the counselling for the Undergraduate course is over. Therefore, the compliance report shall be taken into account for the next academic year by the University.

With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed. No costs.
