HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.12073 of 2015

ORDER

This criminal petition under sections 437 and 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is filed by the petitioner-A4 seeking to grant bail in connection with Cr.No.108 of 2015 of Laveru Police Station, Srikakulam District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 489-A, 489-B, 489-C, 420 and 120-B read with Section 34 IPC.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/A4 and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. It is alleged that on 12.09.2015, the S.I. of Police, Laveru Police Station, on information, rushed to Subadrapuram Junction and found A1 and A2 with hand bags and on interrogation, they admitted that they are doing the business of counterfeit notes along with A3 to A5 and after inspection, they seized counterfeit notes worth Rs.1,30,000/- from the bag.

4. Since the counterfeit coins worth Rs.1 lakh and odd were recovered from the accused, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner/A4.
