Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.
The petitioner sought No Objection Certificate from the District Collector, YSR Kadapa District, the 2nd respondent under his application dated 16.02.2015, in terms of G.O.Ms.No.307, Revenue (Assignments-I) Department, dated 06.06.2013. The petitioner states that assignment in his favour as an ex-serviceman was as early as on 06.03.2002 and ten years period long expired and on account of family necessities, he intends to alienate a part of the subject land. Alleging inaction on the part of the 2nd respondent, the present Writ Petition is filed. It is evident that the petitioner's application in terms of G.O.Ms.No.307, dated 06.06.2013, is pending before the 2nd respondent from 16.02.
2015 and in view of the financial difficulties expressed by him in his application, it is appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the said application in accordance with law expeditiously and in any case, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the same to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
