Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
2. During the course of hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioners herein that for redressal of their grievance petitioners herein submitted representations on 22.12.2015 and 08.02.2016 and the same are pending consideration of the authorities and no action has been taken on the said representations.
3. It is also requested by the leaned counsel for the petitioners that the said representations may be directed to be disposed of by the respondents, in accordance with law, by fixing some time frame. This Court considers the said request as reasonable and the said request is also not opposed by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
4. In view of the above, without going into the merits and demerits of the matter and entitlement of the petitioners, writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to take appropriate action on the representations dated 22.12.2015 and 08.02.2016 said to have been submitted by the petitioners herein, in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of this order. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
