SMT JUSTI CE T. RAJANI CRI MI NAL PETI TI ON No.1 0 6 6 7 of 2 0 1 8 & I A.Nos.2 an d 3 of 2 0 1 8 ORDER:

I A.Nos.2 an d 3 of 2 0 1 8 :

The applications are filed seeking permission to compromise the matter and to record the compromise entered into by the parties and quash the proceedings against the petitioner in S.C.No.726 of 2017 on the file of the I Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Hyderabad. 2.

The parties, together, with their respective counsel, are present in the Court and on being specifically asked, both the parties confirm the terms of compromise as recorded in the joint memo appended to the application in IA.No.2 of 2018.

3.

The sworn affidavit of the first respondent - complainant shows that the dispute was amicably settled between the parties at the instance of the elders due to close relationship between the families and as such, he does not wish to proceed with the case against the petitioner and that he has no objection for quashing of the proceedings in S.C.No.726 of 2017 on the file of the I Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Hyderabad. The facts of the case reveal that the injury sustained by the first respondent - complainant is simple injury and that the weapon used is knife. Since, I am satisfied that the aforesaid compromise is executed by the parties out of their free will and they confirm the terms thereof, when being specifically asked, there is no impediment in recording the said compromise.

The applications are accordingly allowed.

CRLP.No.1 0 6 6 7 of 2 0 1 8 :

In view of the above, the criminal petition is allowed and the proceedings in S.C.No.726 of 2017 on the file of the I Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Hyderabad, against the petitioner, who is the accused, are hereby quashed.
