B. Vishwanadam, v. The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation
IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT HYDERABAD
FOR THE STATE OF TELANGANA & THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH (Special Original Jurisdiction) WEDNESDAY, THE EIGHTEENTH DAY OF FEBRUARY TWO THOUSAND AND FIFTEEN PRESENT THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.3500 of 2015 BETWEEN B. Vishwanadam and others.
... PETITIONERS AND A.P.S.R.T.C, Rep. by its Vice-Chairman & Managing Director, Bus Bhavan, Musheerabad, Hyderabad and another. ...RESPONDENTS Counsel for the Petitioners: MR. P. VENKATESHWER RAO Counsel for the Respondents: MR. N. VASUDEVA REDDY The Court made the following:
ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. N. Vasudeva Reddy, learned standing counsel for the respondents.
Since the issue involved in this writ petition is similar to the one considered by this Court in WP.No.30672 of 2012 dated 01.10.2012, this writ petition is disposed with similar direction, as under: "The grievance of the petitioners is with regard to release of their Special Grade/Stagnation increment upon completion of 12 years of service.
The matter is squarely covered by the judgment of this Court in W.P.No.9592 of 2012. A copy of the order dated 18.4.2012 passed in the said writ petition is placed on record.
For reasons alike, the writ petition is allowed directing the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) to release the petitioners Special Grade/Stagnation increment counting the total period of service rendered by them without reference to the regions in which such service was rendered."
As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
