HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No:34938 OF 2016 ORDER:

The present writ petition is filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, challenging the action of the 2nd respondent in not registering the petitioner's P.B. B.Sc., Nursing Degree and seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to register Three years PB B.Sc., (Nursing) Degree awarded to the petitioner by Indira Gandhi National Open University and issue registration Certificate to her.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

It is stated in the affidavit that the candidates, who prosecuted three years P.B. B.Sc., (Nursing) Course conducted by Indira Gandhi National Open University during the year 2014 filed W.P.No.37802 of 2014 praying to direct the 2nd respondent to register the said degree as their additional qualification and that this Court granted interim direction directing the 2nd respondent to consider for registration of the said degree as their additional qualification and in pursuance of the said interim order, their degrees were accepted and registration certificates were issued. It is the grievance of the petitioner, coming to know about the said direction of this Court, the petitioner also made a representation on 29.9.2016 to the 2nd respondent for registration of her three years P.B. B.Sc (Nursing) Degree, but the 2nd respondent advised her to apply for registration after obtaining the similar order in her favour.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the interim orders of this Court in W.P.No.37802 of 2014 dated 8.2.2016, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the

petitioner dated 29.9.2016, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
