ORDER

This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioners/A1 to A3 seeking to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.40 of 2016 of Kazipet Police Station, Warnagal District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 417 and 420 IPC, against them.

2. It is alleged in the complaint that on 01.10.2015, the petitioners/A1 to A3 took an amount of Rs.3 lakhs as hand loan to meet the marriage expenses of A3 from the de facto complainant and thereafter, cheated him by not returning the amount. They also took amounts from others and cheated them. Hence, he filed the aforesaid complaint.

3. As per the complaint, there are some allegations against the petitioners/A1 to A3 and truth or otherwise of the said allegations cannot be decided at this stage. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned proceedings. However, the petitioners/A1 to A3 are at liberty to challenge the charge sheet, if any, filed against them.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
