THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.2721 OF 2018 ORDER:

This Contempt Case is filed alleging willful violation of the order dated 04.04.2018 passed by this Court in W.P.No.11106 of 2018.

As can be seen from paragraph No.5 of the order, dated 04.04.2018, the Tahsildar, Mulugu Mandal, Siddipet District, was directed to examine the request of the petitioner as ventilated in his applications/representations, dated 09.10.2017 and 06.03.2018 on all aspects and to pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. 3.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue produced a copy of endorsement dated 29.01.2019 made by the Tahsildar, Mulugu Mandal. From a reading of the said endorsement, it can be said that after disposal of the Writ Petition, petitioner made a representation on 10.05.2018 and on due consideration of the said representation, order was passed.

The Court fixed time limit of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order, whereas the order was passed much later and there is delay in taking decision by the Tahsildar, the Court expresses displeasure on him in not acting upon the order passed by this Court within the time limit. He could have applied to the Court to grant further time, if he required more time for passing order, but cannot keep quite and take a decision at his

convenience. The Tahsildar is warned to be more careful in future in taking the decisions.

The Contempt Case is accordingly closed. It is always open to the petitioner to work out the remedies as available in law, if aggrieved by the endorsement, dated 29.01.2019. ____________________ P. NAVEEN RAO, J Date:03.06.2019 KH
