When the matter was listed on 03.01.2017, learned counsel for the petitioners filed a Memo dated 28.11.2016 stating that he has given "No Objection" and handed over the bundle. But there was no appearance for the petitioners. Hence, this Court directed to list the matter under the caption 'for dismissal'. Even today when the matter is listed under the caption 'for dismissal', petitioners have not made any arrangements for appearance in the matter on their behalf. It shows that the petitioners are not evincing any interest in prosecuting the matter diligently.

Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
