Maturu Venkata Seetharamayya v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh,
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 18422 OF 2016 ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Government Pleader for Social Welfare and Government Pleader for Revenue.
Questioning the orders passed by the third respondent in A.S.No.1 of 1996, dated 19.03.2016 the present writ petition came to be filed.
Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to dispose of the stay application filed along with the appeal, at the earliest. Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of, directing the third respondent to dispose of the stay application filed along with the appeal, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Till such time, status-quo as on today with regard to possession of the schedule property shall be maintained. No order as to costs.
Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. _________________________ JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR 02.06.2016 gkv
