HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 13019 of 2011 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioner/accused seeks to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 396 of 2011 of Patancheru Police Station, Medak District, registered for the offences under Sections 406 & 420 IPC.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 27.07.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Patancheru Police Station, Sangareddy, Medak District and submitted that the case has been referred as 'Mistake of Fact' on 30.04.2012 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 396 of 2011 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
