HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.310 of 2011 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief: "To issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in conducting the Draw on 17-082010 for selection of LPG Distributors under Rajiv Gandhi Grameen LPG Vitrak (RGGLV) Scheme in respect of Pamulapadu village location, Kurnool District with in eligible candidate i.e. the 5th respondent as illegal, arbitrary, discriminatory and violative of Articles 14, 16, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India and set-aside the draw conducted on 17-08-2010 and consequently direct the respondents to conduct fresh Draw for selection of LPG Distributors in respect of Pamulapadu village location, Kurnool District under Rajiv Gandhi Grameen LPG Vitrak (RGGLV) Scheme."

Sri O. Manohar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel

appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3, submits that in pursuance of the re-drawal which took place on 31.01.2011 selecting respondent No.5 for LPG Distributorship at Pamulapadu village, the cause in this writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

Therefore, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this petition, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
