THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO Criminal Petition No.2158 of 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by A.1 to A.4 seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.399 of 2015 on the file of Siddipet I-Town Police Station, Medak District for the offence under Sections 498-A IPC and Sections 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation is completed and a charge sheet has already been filed by the police.

In view of the above, the Criminal Petition has become infructious and the same is accordingly dismissed as infructuous. However, after filing the charge sheet, if any warrants are issued and pending against the petitioners, they are directed to surrender before the Court below and file a petition to recall the Warrants and on filing such application, the Court below shall recall the same on the same day on execution of a personal bond for a sum of Rs.5,000/- with one surety by each of the petitioners herein.
