HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.42996 OF 2016 ORDER:

This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioners seeking to declare the inaction of the 2nd respondent in passing orders on the representation made by the husband of the first petitioner herein on 20.11.2016, as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents. With their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself. There is no necessity to put respondent No.8 on notice since this Court is not venturing to adjudicate the case on merits.

The limited grievance of the petitioners in this writ petition is that though the husband of the first petitioner herein submitted a representation before the 2nd respondent on 20.11.2016 complaining the high handedness of R-8 herein, till date no orders are passed.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that a suitable direction may be given to the 2nd respondent to pass orders on the representation made on 20.11.2016, if the same is still pending consideration, in accordance with law. Having regard to the rival submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent-The District Collector, Nellore District, to deal with the representation dated

20.11.2016 made by the husband of the 1st petitioner complaining the high handedness of R-8 herein, in accordance with law and pass necessary orders thereon as early as possible preferably within a period of 6-8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Miscellaneous petitions pending in this writ petition, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
