The petitioner seeks a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.02.2014 and pass orders thereupon as per law in respect of Maktha lands specified in the official Gazette dated 29.03.1956 and pass such other orders.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue takes notice for respondents 1 and 2. No counter is filed so far. 3.

Having regard to the nature of the prayer, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.02.2014, said to be submitted on 01.03.2014, and pass an order on merits expeditiously. No costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
