HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.11371 of 2015

ORDER

This criminal petition under sections 437 and 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is filed by the petitioner-A2 seeking to grant bail in connection with Cr.No.118 of 2015 of Gollaprolu Police Station, East Godavari District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 8(c) read with Section 20(b)(ii)(c) of NDPS Act.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. It is alleged that on 10.08.2015 at 4.30 PM., near N.H.16 road, the police officials found a stationed auto wherein two persons were in possession of 5 bags of ganja weighing about 125 Kgs worth Rs.12,50,000/-.

Since the contraband seized from the possession of the accused is a commercial quantity, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner/A2.
