THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT APPEAL Nos.278 and 279 of 2016 PC: (per the Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) Mr. Satyam Reddy, learned Senior Counsel for the appellants submits that the period for which the appellants sought permission to take out Ratha Yatra is almost complete and, therefore, he seeks liberty to the appellants to make fresh application to the Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh for seeking appropriate action/permission. Writ Appeals are disposed of as rendered infructuous.

It is open to the appellants to make an application for seeking appropriate permission/action, and if any such application is made, we hope and trust that the Director General of Police will consider the same in proper perspective and shall dispose it of as expeditiously as possible within a period of three weeks from the date of application. While granting the liberty, we shall not be understood to have expressed any opinion on the right of appellants to make such application.
