HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.16549 of 2014 ORDER:
In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioner/accused seeks to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.1017 of 2014 on the file of III Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at L.B.Nagar, which was registered against him for the offence under Sections 3, 4 and 5 of Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956. 2) When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 09.02.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Uppal PS, Rachakonda Commissionerate and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 09.11.2017 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.1017 of 2014 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3) No representation for petitioner.
3) In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
