HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 9968 of 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section Cr.P.C, the petitioner/Accused seeks to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 397 of 2007 of Medchal Police Station, Cyberabad Commissionerate, which was registered for the offences under Section 448, 341, 506, IPC. 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 8.5.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Medchal Police Station, Cyberabad Commissionerate and submitted that the case against petitioner/accused has been referred as "Mistake of Fact' on 30.9.2013 and hence, the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
