THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.25827 of 2015 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner, an Anganwadi Worker at D.Kotakonda Village, Aspari Mandal, Kurnool District, is that the respondent authorities are not taking action on her representation dated 06.07.2015 whereby she sought transfer from D.Kotakonda Village to Karumanchi Village Centre-II in the same Mandal. It appears that a notification for filling up this vacancy was issued on 05.08.2015. The claim of the petitioner is that she is entitled to be accommodated at Karumanchi Village Centre-II in terms of the relevant Government Orders.

As the petitioner submitted her representation in this regard to the Project Director, ICDS Project, Women & Child Welfare Department, Kurnool District, the 3rd respondent herein, it would be appropriate that her request for being accommodated at Karumanchi Village Centre-II should be considered in accordance with rules before the authorities proceed with the filling up of that vacancy pursuant to the notification dated 05.08.2015.

The writ petition is therefore disposed of directing the authorities concerned to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.07.2015 and take appropriate action in accordance with rules and only thereafter take further steps to fill up the vacancy notified at Karumanchi Village Centre-II as per the notification dated 05.08.2015. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
