Heard. No representation on behalf of the respondents. 2.
The present Writ Petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus directing respondent No.1 to pass appropriate orders in pursuance of the letter Ref.C/ 02/ 2012, dated 01.10.2010, of respondent No.2 wherein the petitioner was recommended for appointment of the petitioner on compassionate grounds.

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the first respondent may be directed to dispose of the recommendation letter forwarded by the second respondent, in accordance with law.

Having regard to the above and as there was no representation on behalf of the respondents, the present writ petition is disposed of directing respondent no.1 to pass appropriate orders on the letter dated 01.10.2010 forwarded to him by the second respondent, wherein the petitioner was said to have been recommended for appointment on compassionate grounds, in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner and the aggrieved persons, if any, at the earliest.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
