ORDER:

This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "...to declare the action of the respondents in not evaluating the petitioner's thesis dated 01.11.2012 and not conducting viva voce as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents to forthwith take steps to complete the evaluation exercise of the petitioner's thesis dated 01.11.2012 and conduct a viva voce immediately thereafter in accordance with law, by issuing appropriate writ or direction more particularly in the nature of writ of mandamus."

At the hearing, Sri M.V.Pratap Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, requested for permission of the Court to withdraw the writ petition. Letter, dated 18.12.2015, is also addressed to the Registry to that effect.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn.

As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, interim order, dated 04.04.2014, shall stand vacated and WP.M.P.No.12987 of 2014 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
