THE HON'BLE DR. JUSTICE D,NAGARJUN CRIMINAL PETITION No.1O757 of 2O18 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure by the petitioners - accused Nos.l to 3 and 5 to quash the proceedings against them in C.C.No.257 of 2016 on the file of learned Judicial First Class Magistrate at Utnoor registered for the offence under Sections 447,324,506 read with Section 34 ofthe Indian Penal Code. 2.

Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor has submitted that subsequent to filing of the criminal petition, the parties to the dispute have settled the matter before the Lok Adalath on 23.12.2018 and accordingly the trial Court has disposed of the case and to that extent letter dated 15.07.2O22 addressed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Neredmet Police Station to the Public Prosecutor of the High Court is filed. 4.

In view of the above submissions, since the main case has already been disposed of, the very purpose of filing the criminal petition to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.257 of 2O16 on the file of learned Judicial First Class Magistrate at Utnoor has

) already been defeated and thereby the criminal petition has become infructuous and liabie to be dismissed. 5.

Accordingly, the infructuous.

Criminal petition is dismissed AS As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
