THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.35438 OF 2015 ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief:
"to issue a writ order or direction more particularly in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents in not considering the Representations of the Petitioner, Dated 22.06.2015,17.10.2015, in which, he requested the Respondents to Transfer him from Kancheepuram to any nearer Place to Guntur, on health grounds, which was kept pending since last Nine Months, and not considering the several requests made by the Petitioner, his Mother, in a biased manner based on his Religion, is illegal, Contrary to the Indian Bank Officers and Employees (Discipline And Appeal ) Regulations, Arbitrary, Un-Constitutional, contrary to Article 14,19,21,311 of Constitution of India, and Consequently, to Direct the respondents to Consider the representations made by the Petitioner, dated 22.06.2015,17.10.2015 immediately, by Transferring the Petitioner from Kancheepuram to any Nearer Place to Guntur, and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court deem fit and proper in the Circumstances of the case."
2. When the matter is called today, learned standing counsel for the respondent Bank has placed on record a letter dated 19.10.2015 issued by the Chief Manager (HRM), Chennai. In the said letter, the Chief Manager rejected the request of the petitioner in the representation dated 17.10.2015. In view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition.
3. Accordingly, Writ Petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in the Writ Petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
