Learned Senior Counsel does not press the appeals on merits and seeks direction to the learned Single Judge to decide the writ petitions on merits, expeditiously.

The writ appeals are disposed of as not pressed. It is open to the appellants to file an application for expeditious hearing of the writ petitions. Having regard to the fact that the order of status-quo granted by learned Single Judge on 31.12.2013, has stalled the development, the learned Single Judge is requested to hear and decide the writ petitions, expeditiously. Consequently, pending miscellaneous applications shall also stand closed.
