HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 36614 of 2018 ORDER:

1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Government Pleader for Revenue. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondent No.2 in not passing any order in the direction petition filed along with the revision petition on 26.07.2018, as illegal and arbitrary.

3) Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondent authorities to dispose of the direction petition filed along with the revision petition, as early as possible. 4) Learned Government Pleader for Revenue submits that if the said petition is filed and is still pending consideration, the same would be considered in accordance with law, at the earliest.

5) Recording the said submission, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent - authorities to dispose of the direction petition filed by the petitioner along with the revision petition on 26.07.2018, as early as possible,

preferably within a period of two to three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Till then, if the petitioners are in possession of the property in dispute, status-quo as on today to be maintained.
