Pathuri Ramachandra Reddy, v. Government Of Andhra Pradesh,
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.3725 of 2014 ORDER:
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under: "... Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction particularly a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in calling the petitioner to his office and threatening and abusing him as arbitrary, illegal, unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents particularly respondent Nos.2 to 4 not to interfere in civil disputes and harass the petitioner by calling him to their offices and police station to help the other side in civil case." During the course of hearing, the learned Government Pleader placed on record the written instructions received from the Sub-Inspector of Police, Mustabad Police Station, Karimnagar District.
In the said instructions, it is specifically stated that the respondent police never called the petitioner nor the petitioner approached the office of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sircilla. As of now, no criminal case has been registered against the petitioner on the file of the Musthabad Police Station. In fact, a civil suit is pending between the petitioner and his sister, K.Sathava, in O.S.No.90 of 2010 on the file of the learned Senior Civil Judge, Sircilla.
In the light of the above, no further orders are required in the writ petition.
Accordingly, the writ petition is closed.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. _____________________ P. KESHAVA RAO, J Date: 06.11.2018.
