HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.5187 OF 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioner/A3 seeks to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.165 of 2009 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Siricilla, registered for the offence under Sections 420 and 506 IPC. 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 23.07.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Boinpalli Police Station, Rajanna Siricilla District and submitted that the case has been compromised before Lok Adalat on 17.01.2015 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.165 of 2009 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
