Petitioners seek Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent authorities in not mutating the names of the petitioners in the revenue records in respect of 1/6th share in the land in Sy.Nos.94/A and 149/A admeasuring Ac.3.60 cts. and Ac.0.20 cts. respectively situated at Battupally village and in Sy.No.138/A admeasuring Ac.0.85 cts. situated at Easgaon village Kagaznagar Mandal, Adilabad District in spite of written representations dated 13.01.2014 and 22.07.2014 submitted by the petitioners as arbitrary and illegal and consequently direct the respondent authorities to mutate the names of the petitioners in the revenue records in respect of the above said lands. 2) Learned Government Pleader for Revenue takes notice on behalf of respondents. No counter is filed.

3) Having regard to the nature of relief sought for, this Writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent authorities to pass an appropriate order on merits on the representations said to be submitted by the petitioners by giving notice to all concerned expeditiously. No costs. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
