This criminal petition is filed for quash of the proceedings in CC.No.398 of 2013, against the petitioner, who is A2, on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Jadcherla. The offences alleged are under Sections 379 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 27 and 25 of the APWALTA Act and Section 3 of the P.D.P.P.A Act. 2.

The learned Public Prosecutor produced a letter addressed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Bhootpur Police Station, Mahabubnagar District dated 22.11.2018 stating that the case ended in acquittal on 21.08.2018.

In the light of the above, this Court opines that no further orders are required to be passed in this criminal petition. The criminal petition is closed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. __________ T. RAJANI, J November 30, 2018 DSK
