HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.5594 OF 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioner/A.3 seeks to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.227 of 2012 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Sathupalli, Khammam District, arising out of the case registered for the offence under Section 498-A IPC. When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter, dated 11.06.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Aswaraopeta Police Station, Khammam District, and submitted that the case was compromised before the Lok Adalat on 10.10.2015 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.227 of 2012 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Sathupalli, Khammam District has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. No representation for learned counsel for petitioner. In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
