HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 36934 of 2018 ORDER:

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking the following relief:

" to declare the action of the respondents in not considering the applications of the petitioners dated 7th and 9th September, 2017 for correcting the Survey No.195/ 2 as New Survey No.763/ 2 of their land in an extent of Ac.4-76 cents situated at Jamadulapalem (V), Kasimkota (M), Visakhapatnam district as illegal, unjust, in violation of Articles 14 and 300-A of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to correct the survey number of petitioner's subject land as 763/ 2 instead of old Survey No.195/ 2 in the Web Land Pahani and to incorporate their names as pattadars and to accept the deed of conveyance in respect of the above land."

Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the Tahsildar to consider the representation made by the petitioners on 9th December, 2017 for correction in the survey number of the subject land.

The Government Pleader for Revenue would submit that if the representation of the petitioners is still pending, a direction may be issued to the concerned Tahsildar to pass orders thereon. 4.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage, directing the Tahsildar concerned to deal with the representation of the petitioners dated 09.12.2017, seeking correction of the survey number of the subject land, and pass orders in accordance with law as early as possible, preferably, within a period of four to six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. No order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
