This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioner and pay the scale of pay to him, by setting aside the proceedings dated 07.08.2002 issued by the 1st respondent.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is informed by learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Endowments appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4 that there were contradictory reports against the petitioner as well as the 6th respondent. Therefore, it is for the 2nd respondent to decide the issue as to the eligibility and suitability of the petitioner as well as the 6th respondent for regularization of their services. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to decide the issue as to the eligibility and suitability of the petitioner as well as the 6th respondent for regularization of their services, and pass appropriate orders in four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
