THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 45665 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition was filed challenging the action of respondent No.3 in not registering a crime in spite of the complaint, dated 09.12.2016, lodged by the petitioner.

Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, respondent Nos. 1 to 3 filed a counter-affidavit, wherein, it is stated that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, Crime No.26 of 2017 was registered for the offences punishable under Section 498-A IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act and investigation is under progress.

In view of registration of the above crime, no further orders are necessary in the present writ petition.

The writ petition is accordingly closed.
