HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 36774 of 2018 ORDER:

1) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking release of the RC book for limited period, enabling the petitioner to renew his insurance policy, road tax and for securing pollution certificate for the tractor bearing No.AP 27Y 4984 and trailer bearing registration No.AP 27 Y 4985.

2) The averments in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition would show that the petitioner is said to have purchased a tractor and trailer in the year 2010, from one Kistapati Anitha and has been using the same to make out his livelihood. The tax which is paid was valid till 30.09.2018, as it was paid quarterly and also the insurance which got expired during the said period. Since the Registration Certificate is with the second respondent, the petitioner seeks a direction for release of the RC, for a limited period, enabling the petitioner to pay the road tax, renew the insurance policy and also obtain pollution certificate.

3) Having regard to the above, the second respondent shall release the Registration Certificate of the vehicle Massey Ferguson 1035 D1, 2010 Model tractor bearing Registration No.AP 27Y 4984 and trailer bearing Registration No.AP 27Y 4985, for a period of three (03) weeks, enabling the petitioner to pay road tax, renew the

insurance policy and also secure pollution certificate from the concerned authorities and on expiry of three weeks, the petitioner shall re-deposit the RC Book with the second respondent, in default the authorities are at liberty to seize the vehicle. 4) With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. 5) Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order.
