This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking a direction to the II Additional Junior Civil Judge cum XIX Metropolitan Magistrate at Miyapur, Cyberabad to dispose of C.C.No.1364 of 2015 as early as possible.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/de facto complainant and the learned Public Prosecutor representing the State.
A perusal of the record reveals that the petitioner is the de facto complainant and the respondents No.2 to 4 are accused Nos.2 to 4. The respondents 2 to 5 are facing trial for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 463, 464, 465, 468, 471, 447 and 506 IPC. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is aged about 70 years, therefore, the trial Court may be directed to dispose of the matter as early as possible. This Court is very much conscious that number of matters may be pending before the trial Court. However, taking into consideration the age of the petitioner, the trial Court is hereby directed to dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
