G. Swarnalatha v. The District Collector/ Chairman Of The District Selection
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.18889 OF 2013 ORDER:
This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, came to be filed seeking to declare the appointment of the 3rd respondent as Mini Anganwadi Worker at Singirivandla Palli Centre, Tanakal Mandal, Kadiri East, Anantapur District, as illegal and arbitrary.
The grievance of the petitioner appears to be that the 3rd respondent was not having the prescribed age of '21' as on 01.07.2010 as contemplated in the notification dated 12.01.2011 pursuant to which her appointment was made.
Learned Government Pleader for Women Development and Child Welfare filed a counter affidavit on behalf of respondents 1 and 2 stating that on 09.12.2011, the Department has issued a supplementary notification for recruitment of Mini Anganwadi workers. As per the said notification, the candidate shall complete the age of '21' years as on 01.07.2011 and pursuant thereto, the selection of 3rd respondent was made.
In view of the second notification dated 09.12.2011, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly concedes that he has no case. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition stands closed.
Miscellaneous Petitions pending in this petition, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
