HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE SRI THOTTATHIL B. RADHAKRISHNAN AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.36773 of 2018 ORDER: (Per The Hon'ble The Chief Justice Sri Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan) We have heard learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Solicitor General.

The short issue, on which the writ petition comes up for consideration, is the petitioner's allegation that even after lapse of around twelve (12) months, its application for clearance under Environmental Law is not being considered by respondent No.1 - competent authority. 3.

To our query, the learned Assistant Solicitor General responds on the basis of instructions that the State Environment Impact Assessment Authority for Telangana State is being reconstituted since the authority in office has run out its time. It is also submitted that the Ministry is also making arrangements for immediate consideration of pending matters. It is further submitted that a meeting is likely to be scheduled in the month of January, 2019 and, therefore, the application of the petitioner pending with the 1st respondent will be considered and orders issued in accordance with law within an outer limit of two months. 4.

That let such consideration of the petitioner's application to be carried out and final decision taken within a period of two months from today without fail and let such decision be communicated to the petitioner. All other issues left open.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, ordered. No order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
