THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.523 OF 2014 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner-accused under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings against him in Crime No.10 of 2014 on the file of Nandigama Police Station, Krishna District.

When this matter has come up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Admittedly, no stay was granted by this Court earlier. The above crime pertains to the year 2014. In the circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant any relief in this petition. If the investigation is still pending, the respondent-police are directed to complete the investigation without arresting the petitioner and file a final report, if any, in accordance with law. The petitioner is also directed to appear before the investigating agency as and when required and cooperate with the investigating agency. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
