HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 36955 of 2018 ORDER:

1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Government Pleader for Revenue. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is heard at the admission stage itself. 2) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of respondent No.4 in considering the application and Form-VI dated 31.08.2018 of the petitioner for amendment of revenue records, as arbitrary, illegal and unconstitutional, and consequently direct the respondent No.4 to consider and dispose of the application/ Form-VI of the petitioner seeking for amendment of revenue records and to issue pass book and title deed, by correcting the records.

3) Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the application made by the petitioner seeking necessary entries in the revenue records. 4) The Government Pleader for Revenue submits that the petitioner is required to make a suitable application in Form-6A through online, in which event the same will be considered in accordance with law.

5) Giving liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh application as per Form-6A, the present writ petition is disposed of. In the

event of such an application being made by the petitioner, the authorities shall consider the same and pass orders in accordance with law as early as possible, preferably, within a period of three to five months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
