HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 37006 of 2018 ORDER:

1) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus to declare the action of the third respondent in not renewing the fitness of the petitioners' vehicles in spite of their repeated requests is arbitrary and illegal.

2) When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned Counsel for the petitioners that the present writ petition is squarely covered by the order, dated 10.09.2018 passed in W.P.No.32303 of 2018 and copy of the same has been placed on record. The learned Government Pleader for Transport has not disputed the same.

3) Since the case on hand is squarely covered by the order dated 10.09.2018 in W.P.No.32030 of 2018, the Writ Petition is allowed in terms of the order in W.P.No.32303 of 2018, directing the respondent-authorities to allow the petitioners forthwith to submit their applications through online and process the same, as expeditiously as possible and complete the testing formalities within a period of two to three weeks from the date of receipt of the application. It is made clear

that if the addresses given by the petitioners are found to be fake, the respondent-authorities are at liberty to take action. 5) Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
