HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 14039 of 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioner/A.1 seeks to quash the proceedings in CC No. 628 of 2012 on the file of III Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad, registered for the offence under Section 5 of Explosives Substances Act, 1908 (Crime No. 502 of 2010 of Banjara Hills Police Station, Division Banjara Hills).

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the case status information in respect of C.C.No. 628 of 2012 on the file III Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in CC No. 628 of 2012 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
