THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.10905 of 2016 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner was that the police authorities were insisting upon him to vacate a strip of the Mango Garden situated in Survey No.837/3 of Mutyalapadu Revenue Village, Lingasamudram Mandal, Prakasam District. A consequential direction was sought to the police authorities not to interfere with the petitioner's possession over the said land.

Written instructions dated 18.04.2016 were furnished by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Gudluru Police Station, Prakasam District, to the office of the learned Government Pleader for Home, wherein it is stated that some disputes were pending between the petitioner and the 5th respondent in relation to the subject land but as no cases were registered with the police authorities in respect of the disputes, the question of interference by the police authorities did not arise. The Sub-Inspector further asserted that the police authorities never interfered with the petitioner's land as alleged by him. The afore-stated stand of the police authorities is taken on record. In the light thereof, no adjudication is warranted on merits in this case.

Sri Naresh Kumar, learned counsel representing Sri Nimmagadda Satyanarayana, learned counsel for the petitioner, is also agreeable to closure of the case recording the said stand of the police authorities.

The writ petition is accordingly closed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
