HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE B. SIVA SANKARA RAO Crl.P.M.P.No.10544 of 2015 IN/AND CRIMINAL PETITION No.10549 of 2015 COMMON ORDER :

This criminal petition is filed by the petitioners/A.1 to A.4 under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.442 of 2013 on the file of the XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 406 IPC and Sections 4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

2. Pending the criminal petition, the de facto complainant filed Crl.M.P.No.10544 of 2015 along with her affidavit and a joint memo stating that they amicably settled the matter to purchase peace and, therefore, to accord permission to compound the above offences.

3. Having heard the parties, permission is thereby accorded as the parties stated that they have amicably settled the matter to purchase peace. Accordingly, the offences are compounded in terms of their compromise at the instance of the de facto complainant since present with petitioners/A.1 to A.4.

Accordingly, Crl.P.M.P.No.10544 of is allowed.

Consequently, the criminal petition is allowed and all the proceedings relating to C.C.No.442 of 2013 on the file of the XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, are quashed against the petitioners/A.1 to A.4. The bail bonds of the petitioners/A.1 to A.4, if any, shall stand cancelled.
