W.P.No.33106/2016 ORDER: (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice V. Ramasubramanian) The petitioner was not granted the benefit of relaxed eligibility criteria of 40 percentile marks in the NEET-2016 for admission to MBBS on account of her own mistake in not claiming to be a candidate belonging to Other Backward Class. Now she has come up with the present writ petition seeking a Mandamus.

Heard Mr. Y. Ashok Raj, learned counsel for the petitioner. Unfortunately, in the application form for admission, the petitioner did not indicate that she belongs to Other Backward Class so as to be eligible for the relaxed criteria. Therefore, at this eleventh hour when the last date for admission has come, it is not possible to give any direction, as any such direction would include a direction to see the community certificate etc. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
